Desde temprana hora, los residentes del noreste mexicano abarrotaron los puentes internacionales que conectan con el Valle de Texas para aprovechar las ofertas del «Viernes Negro». Este día, conocido por sus grandes descuentos en Estados Unidos, ha captado la atención de quienes decidieron no participar en el Buen Fin en México.

Entre los cazadores de ofertas se encuentra Telesforo Ortiz, quien aseguró que vale la pena hacer las filas para adquirir productos específicos.

“Si vale la pena la verdad, por las televisiones, más que nada productos para limpieza también. Yo tengo pensado ir por una televisión, vamos a ir por ella”, comentó mientras esperaba en la fila del cruce internacional.

La preferencia por realizar compras en Estados Unidos no solo radica en los precios, sino también en las garantías extendidas, políticas de devolución y sustitución de productos dañados. Para José Enríquez, estas ventajas son decisivas.

“Sí están más o menos, me llama la atención la herramienta. Es más que nada por la garantía. El precio está bien o no, pero me dan más del año, o puedes ir a cambiarlos ya dañados y es de volada, eso es lo que vale”, señaló.

No todos los consumidores optan por las compras en tiendas físicas. Ricardo, otro comprador, prefiere evitar las filas y adquirir productos durante el «Cyber Monday», una jornada de descuentos en línea.

“No vale la pena, últimamente las ofertas son más en línea. Yo fui en 2023 y no me llevé nada”, aseguró.

Sin embargo, el movimiento en los puentes internacionales es notable. El dólar se cotiza en 20.60 pesos, y los tiempos de espera han llegado hasta las tres horas en un día festivo como este. Francisco Espino, originario de Reynosa, destacó la paciencia que se requiere.

“Soy de Reynosa. Están agradables, pero hay un tiempo estimado como de una hora o una hora y media, y va a ser más complicado”.

A pesar de las demoras y los desafíos, los cazadores de ofertas del noreste mexicano siguen cruzando la frontera para aprovechar al máximo las promociones que ofrece el «Viernes Negro».
