La presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, presentó al Consejo Asesor de Desarrollo Económico Regional y Relocalización, liderado por la empresaria Altagracia Gómez, el cual coordinará la primera misión espacial completamente latina, liderada por Katya Echazarreta, la primera mujer mexicana en el espacio y veterana de cinco misiones de la NASA.
La coordinadora del consejo destacó a la industria aeroespacial como prioritaria por su valor estratégico y su crecimiento anual del 14% en los últimos 20 años.
“Para 2030, debemos aumentar al menos un 10% en contenido local y las exportaciones de la industria aeroespacial, lo cual, aunque parece sencillo, representa un logro significativo en términos de inversión”, afirmó.
Mexicana Katya Echazarreta completamente latina al espacio
El plan de acción presentado incluye un firme apoyo a las áreas STEM y a la industria aeroespacial, con tres proyectos de gran impacto.
Altagracia Gómez describió los tres proyectos fundamentales del plan:
1.- Encabezar la primera misión espacial 100% latina con la astronauta Katya Echazarreta, planeada para 2027.
2.- La fabricación del motor completo en México, con una importante inversión anunciada por el grupo Safran.
3.- El lanzamiento de un satélite totalmente mexicano, anunciado por la presidenta Sheinbaum.
Gómez concluyó subrayando que el Gobierno colaborará estrechamente con el sector privado y académico en estos proyectos.
