Conoce las bellezas naturales y arquitectónicas que puedes encontrar en el estado y sobre todo en el área metropolitana de Monterrey

¿Quieres viajar a Monterrey y no sabes qué lugares conocer del estado de Nuevo León? Aquí en ALTHER te decimos cuáles son los principales lugares turísticos y que son “obligatorios” para que tu viaje de placer esté completo.
Desde disfrutar la vida nocturna, salir a pasear por un parque, practicar senderismo, conocer un pueblo mágico, probar sus platillos típicos o recorrer un museo, conoce los sitios imperdibles de Nuevo León y la zona metropolitana de Monterrey.
Lo más notable de este estado no solo es su gran variedad en cortes de carne y deliciosos platillos, también es su grandiosa vista y colindancia con cerros y montañas, donde también surge su nombre.

PARQUE FUNDIDORA
El Parque Fundidora, es uno de los lugares de interés en Nuevo León y lo más destacado es su fácil acceso por las entradas ubicadas a su alrededor. Ubicado en la colonia Obrera, al oriente del centro de la ciudad de Monterrey, llegar es muy sencillo y la opción más divertida es tomar una embarcación en el Paseo Santa Lucía. Sale aproximadamente cada media hora y te lleva por más de 2 kilómetros de este canal artificial. También puedes tomar el metro desde el centro, la estación más cercana es “Y Griega” y “Parque Fundidora”.

MACROPLAZA
La Macroplaza tiene un contraste espectacular en sus esculturas y arquitectura; del mismo modo es considerada como la quinta plaza más grande del mundo.
Aquí puedes pasear durante el fin de semana y degustar alguno de los antojitos que venden, además de tomar las mejores fotografías entre sus construcciones y los árboles que la rodean.

PASEO SANTA LUCÍA
Este es el lado romántico de Monterrey, el canal artificial del Paseo Santa Lucía te asombrará centímetro a centímetro, por su bella vista y agradable tarde en bote.
Además, puedes recorrer el paseo y encontrar a la orilla algunos restaurantes y negocios con platillos típicos como los cortes de carne o antojitos como paletas, helados, elotes en vaso. Puedes recorrer el paseo desde el Museo de Arte hasta el Parque Fundidora.

PLAZAS COMERCIALES
La ciudad de Monterrey tiene una gran variedad de sitios de esparcimiento, sobre todo en cuestión de centros comerciales, como el Fashion Drive y el Metropolitan Center, donde podrás encontrar de todo.

MIRADOR DEL OBISPADO
¿Quieres tomar fotografías artísticas de Nuevo León? entonces tienes que visitar el Mirador del Obispado y salir a tomar una caminata al lado de tu familia o pareja. La bandera que se encuentra aquí mide 100 metros de altura.
Por otro lado, desde este lugar puedes ver el puente Viaducto de la Unidad (Atirantado) y Cañón de la Huasteca al suroeste; también una de las cervecerías más famosas del país, así como la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, el Cerro de la Silla y la Sierra Madre Oriental.

CERRO DE LA SILLA
La atracción más icónica en Monterrey es el Cerro de la Silla, considerado como uno de los lugares más emblemáticos del lugar, además de formar parte de la Sierra Madre Oriental.
La montaña tiene cuatro picos: El Pico de las Antenas, Pico Norte, Pico Sur y Pico de la Virgen. El más fácil de escalar es el primero de ellos, debido a que es más sencillo de subir. Dirígete a la colonia Bosques de la Pastora y empieza tu aventura.

GRUTAS DE GARCÍA
Este conjunto de cuevas, te ofrecen un espectáculo visual como ningún otro, debido a su gran variedad de colores que alumbran sus paredes. Este lugar es cercano a Monterrey, consulta los diversos tours disponibles para que disfrutes de su misterio.
Estas grutas tienen una antigüedad de 60 millones de años y el ascenso se realiza por una vereda y toma alrededor de 1 hora. Están abiertas desde las 9 de la mañana hasta las 8 de la noche.

CASCADA COLA DE CABALLO
Uno de los lugares con el nombre más curioso, la Cascada Cola de Caballo tiene un sendero para llegar a ella. Sin duda, tienes que visitar este regalo natural.
La cascada se encuentra en el Parque Nacional Cumbres de Monterrey y tiene un salto de 27 metros. Hay escalinatas y miradores para que puedas apreciarla desde diferentes puntos. Para llegar aquí dirígete desde el centro de Monterrey en coche o autobús a El Cercado.

PARQUE LA HUASTECA
Un parque ecológico donde puedes practicar ciclismo, senderismo o escalar.
Para llegar debes dirigirte al suroeste de Monterrey, al municipio de Santa Catarina. Encontrarás la entrada al inicio de la carretera Monterrey-Saltillo. En la calle Benito Juárez y Lic. Raúl Caballero.

NIDO DE LOS AGUILUCHOS
En este lugar puedes realizar deportes extremos como rapel, en uno de los lugares más bonitos de México. Lo más icónico son las placas blancas de roca caliza que se observan y miden más de 500 metros de altura. Este espacio es el indicado para realizar deportes como rappel y tener una de las mejores vistas. Se localiza dentro del Parque La Huasteca.
