LOS RETOS DE MÓNICA, ARMANDO Y ERASMO CON LA 4T UNIDA EN TAMPICO, ALTAMIRA Y MADERO

Con la victoria de los candidatos de Morena en los tres municipios de la zona sur de Tamaulipas (Altamira, Ciudad Madero y Tampico), se abre una nueva etapa política en la región. 

Por primera vez, los tres alcaldes de estas ciudades compartirán una misma ideología alineada con el proyecto de la Cuarta Transformación, la llamada 4T, proyecto encabezado a nivel nacional por el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, quien este 30 de septiembre deja Palacio Nacional para ceder la estafeta a Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.

Son Mónica Villarreal quien estará al frente de Tampico, Erasmo González por Ciudad Madero, y en Altamira repetirá Armando Martínez.

Para José Antonio Zapata Hinojosa, profesor en Economía y Ciencias Políticas en el Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Tampico, existen muchos retos para las nuevas autoridades, pero también muchos pendientes en los cuales se debe trabajar fuertemente para el beneficio de la población del sur de la entidad.

NECESIDADES EN ALTAMIRA

Por ejemplo, en el municipio de Altamira, dos de los temas fundamentales son la Infraestructura y el desarrollo económico, debido a que esta ciudad es uno de los motores industriales de la región, con su puerto industrial como centro neurálgico del desarrollo económico. 

Pero esto conlleva a enfrentar grandes retos en infraestructura y servicios básicos, áreas a las cuales deberán dar prioridad los integrantes del nuevo gobierno, algo que ya debiera estar previsto, debido a que será un gobierno de continuidad.

En este municipio existen pendientes y retos clave, como por ejemplo el desarrollo portuario y logística; Aunque el puerto de Altamira es un pilar clave en el comercio internacional, necesita mejoras en su infraestructura para maximizar su potencial y será esencial para ello la ampliación y modernización de la red logística. 

“Altamira aún sufre de deficiencias en el suministro de agua potable, drenaje y pavimentación en varias colonias, lo que representa un desafío significativo para la nueva administración”, detalló.

Recalca que existen temas como la seguridad, ya que, aunque se ha avanzado en el tema, la violencia aún preocupa a los ciudadanos, por ello el nuevo gobierno deberá garantizar políticas efectivas de seguridad que promuevan el desarrollo económico sin poner en riesgo la estabilidad social. 

EN CIUDAD MADERO, EL TURISMO Y MEDIO AMBIENTE SON TORALES

El experto en política pública recordó que el municipio de Ciudad Madero es conocido por su playa Miramar, uno de los destinos turísticos más importantes del noreste de México; Pero, a pesar de esta ventaja natural, enfrenta desafíos en cuanto al cuidado del medio ambiente y la promoción turística. 

Para las nuevas autoridades que encabeza Erasmo González Robledo, también existen pendientes y retos clave, entre ellos el darle continuidad al máximo paseo del sur de la entidad, buscando seguir con la reactivación económica tras la pandemia, atrayendo inversión en infraestructura hotelera y comercial para revitalizar el turismo. 

Asegura que la protección ambiental tiene retos relacionados con el saneamiento de lagunas y las áreas verdes cercanas a la playa. 

José Antonio Zapata Hinojosa expone que el nuevo gobierno deberá enfocarse a lograr un equilibrio en el crecimiento turístico con la protección ambiental, pues van de la mano.

“Las deficiencias en drenaje pluvial y la falta de mantenimiento en las vialidades son áreas que requerirán atención inmediata, especialmente en temporada de lluvias, son pendientes en materia de obra y servicios públicos que deberán resolverse”, acotó.

TAMPICO, LA JOYA DE LA CORONA EN TAMAULIPAS

En cuanto al municipio de Tampico, la llegada de Mónica Villarreal Anaya, augura un fututo muy importante para el puerto, pues al ser hermana del gobernador de Tamaulipas, puede darse mayor flujo de recursos para obras prioritarias.

Los especialistas han destacado que en Tampico se ha trabajado en rubros como el comercio, la cultura y la modernización, por lo que se le considera al puerto como el centro comercial y cultural de la zona sur de Tamaulipas, por ello es que tiene grandes desafíos en cuanto a la modernización urbana, el desarrollo económico y la seguridad.  

De los grandes pendientes que tiene Tampico se encuentra la modernización del centro histórico, pues ha sido un proyecto en curso durante varios años, pero queda mucho por hacer para lograr atraer turistas e inversionistas, por ello es que la nueva administración deberá trabajar para revitalizar la economía local, sin perder por su puesto, el valor cultural. 

En torno a la seguridad, la percepción que se tiene de inseguridad en algunas zonas sigue convirtiéndose en un obstáculo para la inversión y el turismo, por lo que se requiere implementar estrategias más eficaces para restablecer la confianza de la ciudadanía y los inversionistas.

En términos generales, uno de los principales retos de las nuevas administraciones, será la coordinación entre los tres municipios para llevar a cabo proyectos regionales de desarrollo que beneficien a toda la zona sur de Tamaulipas.   

“Además, los tres alcaldes de extracción morenista, deberán hacer frente a las expectativas de la población sobre las mejoras inmediatas en términos de justicia social, reducción de la corrupción y mejoramiento en la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos”.

En conclusión, los gobiernos de Altamira, Ciudad Madero y Tampico enfrentan retos importantes, pero también oportunidades para transformar la región, por lo que los presidentes municipales tendrán la tarea de implementar una política que combine las necesidades ciudadanas con la visión nacional de transformación, priorizando la infraestructura, la seguridad, el desarrollo económico y la protección ambiental, pero punto importante será la coordinación entre los municipios y con los gobiernos estatal y federal para un mejor desarrollo de la zona sur de Tamaulipas.
